  Accepting Qualifications/Proposals for On-Call Engineering and GIS Services
The City of Woodland Park is accepting qualifications and cost proposals for On-Call Engineering and GIS Services. The City will host a project orientation meeting at City Hall, 220 W. South Avenue, Woodland Park, CO 8066 on July 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Proposals shall be received by the City of Woodland Park, 220 West South Ave, PO Box 9007, Woodland Park, CO 80866 on or before 5:00 pm September 25, 2009. Click to view (www.city-woodlandpark.org).

  OLD FASHIONED 4th OF JULY CELEBRATION - Memorial Park
Fishing Derby for kids 15 and under from 8-9. Pancake Breakfast at the Senior Center at 7:30. This family fun event features three stages of entertainment, food, crafters, activities, kid games on the lawn, basketball & volleyball tournaments, horse & buggy rides, tractor/wagon rides, and fire engine rides! You can even try your hockey shot ability at the tennis courts! The Wagons & Wheels Parade starts at 11:30; decorate your bicycle, wagon or other wheels, parade around the park ending at the gazebo to see the Woodland Park Wind Symphony playing during the raising of the flag. Fireworks at Dark behind the High School. (Registration for Volleyball Tournaments at the Park & Rec Booth, Registration for the Basketball Tournaments at the Basketball Court)

  MAINSTREET MAKEOVER
The "Mainstreet Makeover" is a building facade improvement and beautifications project in Woodland Park. Fifteen buildings in Downtown are receiving new facades, paint and other exterior improvements. With all properties to be completed in a five week period, Mainstreet Makeover is also the name of an event on July 11th that will celebrate the completion of the project.
