Historic Preservation Committee

The role of the Historic Preservation Committee is to review nominations for a local historic landmarks and make recommendations to the City Council. Once a structure is locally landmarked the Committee also reviews proposals for moving, remodeling the exterior and/or demolition. The Committee also conducts historical surveys and assists with public education programs about local history.
