COLORADO HUNTER'S EDUCATION

Planning on hunting in Colorado?  Anyone born on or after January 1, 1949, must have a Hunter Education Certificate before he or she may hunt in Colorado.  This course covers gun safety, hunting laws, ethics, wildlife management, survival, bow hunting, muzzle loading and more.  Kids 10-14 years old must be accompanied by an adult, the adult will not be charged.  Requirements for Certification: attend all sessions, pass written test, fire 12 rounds at the range and demonstrate shooting oppositions, gun carries and fence crossing.

Location:     Parks and Recreation Classroom
Session I:   August 9, 16, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Classroom
                 August 17, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Range Day
Ages:        10 years and older
Class Fee: $10.00
Class Size: 10 - 40
