BEGINNING DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

This seminar will include a combination of interactive discussion of techniques, equipment demonstrations, and viewing and critique of projected digital photos. Topics covered include basics of digital camera operation, useful accessories, composition, printing and storage of digital photos, and computer enhancement of photos using low-cost image editing and cataloging software. Seminar notes on CD will be provided.

ADVANCED DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Recommended for advanced amateurs or professionals with SLR bodies and interchangeable lenses or higher-end compact digital cameras. This seminar will include a combination of interactive discussion of techniques, equipment demonstrations, and viewing and critique of projected digital photos. Topics covered include advanced digital camera operation, use of flash, white balance, metering techniques, lighting, and RAW capture. We'll also cover advanced digital workflow, printing and storage of digital photos, photography in the field, and specialized lenses and equipment for professional applications. Seminar notes on CD will be provided.
