MICRO TENNIS

Intermediate level tennis program designed for children 7-12 years old who can run and hit the ball over the net 8 out of 10 times in succession with only one bounce, but have not yet started to serve from the baseline. This competitive, game-oriented program focuses on the instructor starting a point feeding to the offensive team where the team's goal is to hit the ball over the net to their opponent in order to score points. Two teams of 3 or 4 players rotate in and out on offense and defense to create a fast-paced game of learning to chase down hard-to-reach balls and focusing on keeping the ball going across the net and in play (rallying the ball).  In order to be sure that your child is ready for this program, the instructor will need to assess the player's skill level in order to participate.  See assessment dates below.  Attendance at the assessments is mandatory to participate in this program.
