GENERAL CITY POSITIONS
HUMAN RESOURCE/PAYROLL TECHNICIAN
The City of Woodland Park is accepting applications for a full time HR / Payroll Technician. Duties include bi-weekly payroll processing including related deposits, payments and quarterly & year-end payroll tax reports; in-processing/orientation of new employees; maintain personnel records and compile personnel statistics/reports/master files; technical support/assistance to employees and management staff in all areas of personnel & associated record keeping; administers insurance/benefits programs; compilation & processing of information for CIRSA and CML annual reports and various salary surveys; maintaining current working knowledge of all labor-related laws and assisting staff with related issues and questions; and various other payroll and human resources duties.
Position requires a working knowledge of modern policies & practices of payroll and human resource administration including employee classification, compensation, benefits, legal issues and labor relations; along with excellent communication, organizational, and clerical skills. High school diploma or GED along with two years experience in human resources and payroll applications or equivalent formal education in relevant areas of study preferred.
Hiring salary range is a Grade 6,
$37,162 - $41,584. DOE. Plus an excellent benefit package.

POLICE DEPARTMENT POSITIONS
CITY OF WOODLAND PARK - DISPATCHER
The Woodland Park Police Department is accepting applications for the position of a full time dispatcher. Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma. Upon acceptance of an interview the applicant must pass "criticall" 9-1-1 testing, background check, polygraph, psychological evaluation and a drug test. The applicant must be able to work a shift schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays. The annual salary range for Dispatch I is $35,392-47,780, plus an excellent benefit package. Emergency Medical Dispatch certification is preferred and could affect the starting salary. Position is open until filled.
