Signs

Sign permits are required for most signs in Woodland Park.  The City adopted a new sign code on April 1, 2010.  Please consult the sign code and the educational brochures below for guidance on when permits are required and what is allowed in terms of types and sizes of signs.

Sign Brochures:

  1. Permanent Signs Brochure
  2. Banners and Temporary Signs Brochure
  3. Real Estate and Development Signs Brochure
  4. Sidewalk and Portable Signs Brochure

For those signs that require a permit, it is necessary to complete and submit a sign permit application to the City of Woodland Park and have it approved prior to installing the sign.  In many cases, a Teller County Building Department permit is also required.  Please call them at 687-3048 to inquire about this possibility.

Sign Permit Applications:

If the sign is a permanent sign, then click on the Permanent Sign Permit Application.

If the sign is temporary or portable, the click on the Temporary Sign Permit Application
