Aaron Melvick, owner of AJ’s Pizzeria Restaurant purchased the former Pizza Hut property and intends to complete a beautiful redesign and remodel as shown. The existing building footprint is 1,737 SF. The remodel will add 506 SF for a total of 2,243 SF of floor area which will accommodate 50 occupants for indoor dining. The outdoor dining patio will accommodate 17 occupants with a stunning view of Pikes Peak.
Trailhead Townhomes
Habitat for Humanity broke ground on nine new duplexes east of the Valley View Apartments. Trailhead Townhomes are using insulated concrete forms (ICF) in place of a stick-built approach. With the escalating cost of lumber, ICF has proven to be financially beneficial. The first duplex should be completed in three months and the second duplex will have its Certificate of Occupancy before the end of 2021.
Brecken Heights
Brecken Heights will consist of a 32-unit multi-family residential project (16 duplexes) including public and private open space, and a public right of way located at 19569 E. US Highway 24 (13.09 acre tract in the NE4 SW4- Section 30, T12S-R68-W6th PM) in the Multi-Family Residential Suburban (MFS) and Community Commercial (CC) zone district.
Tamarac Parc
Tamarac Parc is a multi-family residential development consisting of 55 townhomes and 3 apartment buildings (112 units) on 12.44 acres (total of 167 units) with a gross density of 13.46 dwelling units/acre on Lots 6 and 7, Tamarac Tech Park Filing No. 5 (adjacent to SH 67 and Tamarac Parkway) in the Multi-Family Residential Urban (MFU) zone district. It will include 6.5 acres of open space that includes park amenities, playground equipment, exercise equipment, and walking trails.
