[ARCHIVED] 3 Summer Festival Must-Haves

The original item was published from May 12, 2021 4:32 PM to May 12, 2021 4:32 PM

Summer is coming and so are summer festivals, farmers markets, and all of those much awaited outdoor events. In Woodland Park, Colorado the summer months are magical!  The sun shines all the time and the temperature rarely rises above 75 and most homes do not even have air conditioners (including mine). As you venture outdoors to the local Arts Festival or Farmers’ Market there are a few must-haves to keep you stylish and comfortable.

The first item is probably the last that you will put on before leaving the house, but needs to be the first one that you think about. Think about coordinating your attire around a fabulous hat! The Colorado sun can be brutal, even when the temperature is pleasant. Not only does this accessory express your individuality but it protects your eyes from UV rays, prevents your skin from burning, and helps maintain a normal body temperature.

Fanny PackFanny Pack- BLOG

Why would you wear a fanny pack? I say, “Why not?” The fanny pack has made a major comeback and is perfect for perusing artwork or tasting local organic vegetables. The summer days of fiddling with a purse strap are in the past. Place your phone, keys, money, lip gloss, and granola bar all this hip bag and enjoy hands free shopping!

70s Flair70s Flair- BLOG

Have you been holding onto that amazing vintage fringe vest, and just do not have the right event for the look? Its time to get it out of the back of your closet and wear it to the art festival or outdoor concert. I love the 70s vibe for summer events, and you can easily add the vintage flare with crochet, fringe, or bell bottoms.

With these three must-haves, you will be protected, organized and stylish for all your outdoor summertime events!
