Woodland Park City Council began the meeting by recognizing recently retired Planning Director Sally Riley for her 36 years of service to the City of Woodland Park. Speakers included City Manager Michael Lawson, former Planning Commission Chairperson Jon DeVaux, and former Woodland Park City Manager David Buttery.
Council appointed Laurie Glauth and David Langley to the Historical Preservation Committee for four year terms ending in 2026.
Aaron Vassalotti, Finance Director, was officially sworn in as the treasurer for the City of Woodland Park.
City Council appointed Mayor Pro Tem Hillary LaBarre as Mayor. LaBarre will serve as Mayor until the next regular election on April 5, 2022. To fill the Mayor Pro Tem position, Council appointed councilmember Kellie Case.
After a presentation from Frank Connors of the Charter Review Committee, Council approved three ordinances for the submission of three ballot questions to the Electors of the City to amend the City's Charter. The questions will appear on the ballot for the April 5, 2022 municipal election. The approved ordinances were: 1410, 1414, 1415. View the ordinances on the agenda.
